Senior Play Cast
The S. R. O. sign was up at curtain time on Friday evening, November 5th, when the annual senior play, TAKE YOUR MEDICINE, was presented in the school auditorium. Judging from the laughs, applause, and favorable comments, the capacity audience "took their medicine" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bob Beken, as a crotchety patient, and Claude Turk, in the role of a patient who thoroughly enjoyed hospital life, playing t he leading roles. The antics of these two in upsetting the normal hospital routine, the usual complications of hospital life further complicated by a hard-boiled head nurse, plus a budding romance between a patient's niece and a young Ph. D. mistaken for an M. D., and the boners of a stupid "probie" formed the basis for the plot and proved to make a hilarious comedy.
