"Well, I'm Kathy Williams, but everyone calls me Kathy. I'm a Rotary Exchange Student from the state of the Tasmanian Devils, Tasmania which is an island state of Australia. My home city is Hobart, where I just completed one year as a student teacher, before coming to Kortright in January.
I've got a Mum and Dad, dog, and three brothers. Dad is a carpenter. Greg and Tim are 21 year old twins and David is 17 years old. Greg and David are apprentice carpenters and Tim is studying zoology at the Tasmanian University. All we three are keen surfers.
I've fallen in love with this country. It is so beautiful and the people are so friendly. I am very pleased and proud that you have allowed me to become part of your community. Thank you, and I hope that when I leave, you will all feel free to come and stay with me in my home in Hobart, Tasmania, so that I can repay you for the friendship and kindness you have given me."
