TUITION FOR NON-RESIDENTS
Hobart High School has been designated as one of the schools to furnish free tuition for non-resident pupils. Any studient holding a Preliminary certificate or its equivalent and living in a district not maintaining an Academic Department will be admitted free. The Education Department has provided that in the case of a pupil who has failed to earn a Preliminary Certificate, he or she may, by passing a special examination, be admitted to the high school free until the next Regents examination. Passing such an examination does not entitle them to a preliminary, which must be earned in Regents and cannot be earned elsewhere. Such an examination will be given during the first week in September or February by the Principal and may be taken by such
